Ekta Wants To Settle Old Scores With Akshay?

The latest rumours doing the rounds are that Ekta Kapoor is out to settle an old score with Akshay Kumar.
You see, after several delays, her latest production Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3, starring Aftab Shivdasani, Tusshar Kapoor and Krushna Abhishek, has announced its release date as January 22. This, when she was aware that Akki's Airlift is hitting the screens the same day.

Rewind to 2013 when the two collaborated on Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara. Reports suggested that Ekta blamed the actor for the film's failure - she felt that Khiladi Kumar hadn't promoted the movie enough. Ekta and Akshay reportedly had a bitter fight then.
Cut to present. We hear, Ekta was certain that she wanted to release the sex comedy on January 22 itself - if it clashes with Akshay's film, so be it.
A source close to the producer laughed it off, saying, "People are reading too much into it. Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 had been delayed quite a bit and now that the film is ready, Ekta wants to release it as soon as possible. There's nothing else to it."
